Small Controlled Area Radiography (SCAR)

SCAR enables radiography to be carried out with radiation levels at the lowest possible levels. These systems are capable of performing radiography inside a controlled area in midst of busy areas, without disrupting operations. The reduction of unwanted radiation scattering effects around the film through effective photoelectric absorption has an additional benefit of improving Radiographic quality. This is due to the smaller area of radiation barricaded areas which can allow other processes to occur without disrupting production.
